The RMA 453 PV from STIHL is a battery-powered lawn mower with variable speed drive, designed for users looking to cut large lawns. This 4 Series battery-powered lawn mower is quiet and packs plenty of power – making it the ideal choice for gardeners.
This lawn mower is built with a rugged polymer deck that is lightweight, rust proof and double layered for additional stability. It’s UV resistant, has a 51 cm / 20" cutting width and single point height adjustment that is adjustable between 20 – 100 mm. The RMA 453 PV is part of the AP System range of tools and is powered by an AP 300 S battery that is interchangeable with other machines across the range. This lawn mower is fitted with sequential battery discharge, which means the lawn mower has an automatic switchover feature - so when one battery runs out of power, it will automatically switch over to the next one. On a full charge with the recommended AP 300 S battery you will be able to mow lawns up to 450 m2, which becomes 900 m2 when the lawn mower is used with two AP 300 S batteries.Please note - Only one AP300S supplied with this mower.

The RMA 453 PV has a built-in electronic interface on the mono-handlebar which shows useful information such as the battery charge, the ability to switch between mowing modes and adjust the motor speed levels. The comfort mono-handlebar allows easy access to the grass catcher box, making it easier to remove and empty when it’s full – plus, thanks to the fill level indicator on the grass catcher box you’ll know exactly when to empty the box too! The 55-litre grass catcher box is ergonomically designed and easy to fully open for fast emptying. The sturdy mono-handlebar is height adjustable and foldable for compact storage after use.

Height Adjustable Mono-Comfort Handlebar
The comfort handlebar is only mounted on one side of the lawn mower, making it easier for you to remove the grass collection box. As the handlebar is height-adjustable, it enables you to mow your lawn comfortably and ergonomically. You can adjust it to your preferred height without using tools. As the handlebar is also foldable, the lawn mower can be compactly stored and transported.
Flow-Optimised Blades
The flow-optimised blade trims the grass with minimal resistance, only swirling the air as much as absolutely necessary. As a result it consumes minimal battery capacity, which means that the stored energy is sufficient for the largest possible area.
Eco Mode
When eco mode is activated, the speed of the lawn mower motor is automatically adapted to the actually required power. As a result, the STIHL battery-powered lawn mower consumes very little energy and can cover a larger area before it needs to be recharged.
Easy-Running Wheels
The easy-running wheels of our cordless lawn mowers are extremely robust and hard-wearing. They have been equipped with a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and perfect line holding during mowing.
Foldable Grass Catcher Box
The innovative grass catcher box is made of plastic and features a folding mechanism that makes it particularly easy to open and empty. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures its optimum filling. The handly level indicator tells the user when the grass box is full.
Vario Drive
The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the STIHL lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.
Polymer housing
The housings of the STIHL battery-powered lawn mowers are made of a high-quality polymer material. This extremely lightweight polymer housing combines high resistance and robustness against forces, heat and UV radiation.

Certain products such as walk behind lawnmowers & ladders are too heavy/large to dispatch with the standard courier service and will require using a freight company. Due to the additional costs to us we are unable to offer free delivery on these products and will incur an additional delivery charge of €54.95. You must be on site to receive and sign for these deliveries.
BAND 3 Purchase of items between 50 – 200kg. Certain products such as ride on mowers, power washers and generators are too large/heavy to dispatch with courier service and will require using a freight company. Due to the additional costs to us we are unable to offer free delivery on these products and will incur an additional delivery charge of €129.95
