Which Robot Lawn Mower is right for me?

Choosing the right robot lawn mower can be daunting, but don't worry, there is some straightforward factors to consider to make sure you choose the correct models

Size of Lawn:
Different robot lawn mower models are designed for different lawn sizes, typically measured in square meters. Our range of robot lawn mowers can cover anything from small gardens to extensive properties. You must choose a lawn mower that suits the size of your garden or the robot may not work as intended.

Complexity of Lawn:
Consider the layout and complexity of your lawn. Is there mulitple areas needing to be cut? Is there passage ways that the robot can use to travel between areas? Is there large tress or surrounding buildings that will affect satellite signals? (for wireless models).

Robot lawn mowers vary in ability to navigate compelx landscapes. Certain models with advanced navigation and mapping technologies can better handly complicated lawns. If you feel like your lawn is particularly complex, give us a call to discuss which model would suit best.

Slope of the Lawn:

Smartphone Control:
Although most robot lawn mowers now allow smartphone control, you must make sure that your model of lawn mower allows control via smartphone before purchasing is that is an important factor to you!

Installation - Wired Permiter Wire vs Wireless:
- Wired
Traditionally, robot lawn mowers required the installation of a perimeter wire. This wire defines the mowing area(s) and guides the mower to the charging station. Installation is normally done by a robot lawn mower technician, however it can be done DIY.
- Wireless
Some newer models can be installed without a perimeter wire. They work by using GPS signals to manoeuvre through the lawn. This setup reduces installation complexity and eliminates the installation of a perimeter wire.
