Stihl RM448TX Self Propelled Lawnmower

The STIHL RM448TX petrol lawn mower combines powerful mowing performance with effortless use. With a cutting width of 46cm/18", it is ideal for medium-sized lawns up to 1200m2. Thanks to its lightweight yet robust polymer housing, this mower is easy to guide across your lawn. Its powerful OHV engine, the 1-speed drive as well as its easy start system all help to make this mower a popular choice for those that want to mow quickly and efficiently. The six setting deck height adjustment is centralised, which allows you to adjust the whole deck height using just one simple to operate lever. The RM448TX can be converted into a mulching mower using a mulching kit, which is available as an accessory.

Polymer Housing
The extremely lightweight housing of the RM448 TX combines high resistance and robustness against forces, heat and UV radiation. 

Carrying Handles
This STIHL lawn mower is equipped with carrying handles to make transport simple and loading easy. The carrying handles are also suitable as lashing points for securing the lawn mower with a strap during transport.

Fold-Open Grass Catcher Box With Level Indicator
The plastic grass catcher box can be easily opened and emptied thanks to its folding mechanism. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures a high degree of filling. Thanks to the downward-facing vanes, the air is guided sideways towards the ground, preventing dirt from being thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying.

Stihl ReadyStart Engine
Stihl’s ReadyStart Engine technology allows the engine of the mower to be started with little effort during both cold and warm starting.  

Soft Grip Foldable Handlebars
Super soft grips allows you to use the mower over extensive periods comfortably. The foldable design of the handlebar allows for easy compact storage.

Smooth Running Wheels
The smooth running wheels of the Stihl lawnmowers are extremely robust and durable. They have been equipped with a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for easy manoeuvring and to hold the perfect cutting line during mowing.

Highlift Blade
The highlift blade gives a precise finish to the lawn and optimal filling of the grass catcher box. The blade creates a strong air current in the housing of the machine. This makes the grass strand uprights before cutting and efficiently carries the grass clippings into the catcher box using an integrated and powerful airflow system.

BAND 1 Purchases of items between 0 – 29kg will incur a delivery charge €5.00 within Mainland Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

BAND 2 Purchases of items between 30 – 49kg will incur a delivery charge of €54.95 within Mainland Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Certain products such as walk behind lawnmowers & ladders are too heavy/large to dispatch with the standard courier service and will require using a freight company. Due to the additional costs to us we are unable to offer free delivery on these products and will incur an additional delivery charge of €54.95. You must be on site to receive and sign for these deliveries.

BAND 3 Purchase of items between 50 – 200kg. Certain products such as ride on mowers, power washers and generators are too large/heavy to dispatch with courier service and will require using a freight company. Due to the additional costs to us we are unable to offer free delivery on these products and will incur an additional delivery charge of €129.95
