The Stihl RM 448.1VC Self Propelled Petrol Lawnmower is the perfect mower for covering medium-sized lawns up to 1200m². Fitted with an 18" (46cm) cutting deck and a large 55L grass catcher, this Stihl walk-behind mower combines powerful mowing with effortless use. The powerful OHV engine has a variable speed drive which is ideal for anyone looking to mow quickly and efficiently. The variable speed transmission makes it easy to tackle different slopes of your garden and reduces fatigue significantly. The polymer housing of this machine combines high resistance and lightweight, so the mower can easily glide across your lawn. 

This extremely sturdy mower also has a height-adjustable mono-comfort handlebar which increases access to the grass catcher making it that bit easier to empty the grass. A level indicator on the grass box signals when the box needs to be emptied, which is great for protecting against any blocks in the chute. The six setting deck height adjuster is centralised, which allows you to adjust the whole deck height using one simple lever.

Stihl's Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the mower for personal preferences and lawn conditions. The speed of the mower can be easily controlled using the lever on the handlebar.

The extremely lightweight housing of the RM448.1 VC combines high resistance and robustness against forces, heat and UV radiation. 

Carrying Handles
This STIHL lawn mower is equipped with carrying handles to make transport simple and loading easy. The carrying handles are also suitable as lashing points for securing the lawn mower with a strap during transport.

Mono-Comfort Handlebar
The foldable mono-comfort handlebar provides for easy handling during mowing and removal of the grass catcher box. Moreover, the STIHL lawn mower can be stored and transported in a space-saving manner. The handlebar can be adapted to your body height without using tools and ensures ergonomic working.

Fold-Open Grass Catcher Box With Level Indicator
The plastic grass catcher box can be easily opened and emptied thanks to its folding mechanism. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures a high degree of filling. Thanks to the downward-facing vanes, the air is guided sideways towards the ground, preventing dirt from being thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying.

Stihl ReadyStart Engine
Stihl’s ReadyStart Engine technology allows the engine of the mower to be started with little effort during both cold and warm starting.  

Soft Grip Foldable Handlebars

Highlift Blade
The high lift blade gives a precise finish to the lawn and optimal filling of the grass catcher box. The blade creates a strong air current in the housing of the machine. This makes the grass strand uprights before cutting and efficiently carries the grass clippings into the catcher box using an integrated and powerful airflow system.

BAND 1 Purchases of items between 0 – 29kg will incur a delivery charge €5.00 within Mainland Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

BAND 2 Purchases of items between 30 – 49kg will incur a delivery charge of €54.95 within Mainland Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Certain products such as walk behind lawnmowers & ladders are too heavy/large to dispatch with the standard courier service and will require using a freight company. Due to the additional costs to us we are unable to offer free delivery on these products and will incur an additional delivery charge of €54.95. You must be on site to receive and sign for these deliveries.

BAND 3 Purchase of items between 50 – 200kg. Certain products such as ride on mowers, power washers and generators are too large/heavy to dispatch with courier service and will require using a freight company. Due to the additional costs to us we are unable to offer free delivery on these products and will incur an additional delivery charge of €129.95
