The STIHL MSA 300 is the first cordless chainsaw that was designed by STIHL especially for professional work. The full electrical output of 3.0 kW is converted into a chain speed of up to 30 m/s thanks to the powerful STIHL AP 500 S battery developed for this chainsaw. Together with the STIHL .325" RS Pro saw chain and the Light 04 guide bar, this ensures high cutting performance with reduced weight. Professionals are impressed when working with the STIHL MSA 300 also the weatherproof and robust construction. The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations and thus relieves your muscles and joints.
So that the maintenance and cleaning of the cordless chainsaw MSA 300 can be as easy as possible, accessing the filter is particularly easy thanks to the service cover. The STIHL MSA 300 is the first chainsaw from STIHL to have an operating and notification cockpit, which you can use to get all the key data and information about your saw. It is also already prepared for networked work thanks to the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A.
All cordless tools in the STIHL AP system are designed for professional users and for daily use, even under adverse weather conditions . The devices also have protection against splashing water from all sides, which has been proven in internal tests. The splash water protection of the STIHL MSA 300, which has already been proven in internal tests, has also been certified according to the IPX4 protection class.
Landscape builders, forestry professionals and municipalities can use the STIHL MSA 300 cordless chainsaw to fell, delimb and also cut small and medium-sized trees to length. In order to work as efficiently as possible, you support 3 operating programs (Eco, felling and limbing), which configure the chainsaw for the respective applications.
Note:You can only operate this cordless chainsaw with a STIHL AP 500 S battery to its full range of functions. The use of other STIHL batteries does not guarantee the use of all functions or the maximum possible sawing performance.

Ematic Chain Lubrication System
The STIHL Ematic chain lubrication system provides maximum lubrication, longer wear and less oil consumption than conventional methods of chain lubrication. The oil consumption can therefore be reduced by up to 50%.
Two-Handled Operation
The ergonomically shaped handle and rear control handle with comfortable soft-grip component ensure safe working in all operating positions.
Operating Handle
The black soft component on the rear handle provides a secure and firm grip in all working positions.
Toolless Filler Cap
The tank can be filled quickly and easily using the toolless filler cap.
STIHL Electric Motor (EC)
The STIHL electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient, lightweight and compact. It runs quietly, generates very low vibrations and does not require servicing.
Operating Modes
This Chainsaw offers you 3 different operating modes. Eco, Felling and Delimbing. Eco allows the chainsaw to operate with reduced power for maximum battery life. Felling mode uses the highest possible torque at reduced chains peed to help saw as evenly as possible and Delimbing mode gives you a very high chain speed for precise cuts
Fleece Filter
The fleece filter in the new MSA300 guarantees consistant performance even in extreme conditions.Its finepoured filter material keeps even very fine dust and dirt away from the power electronics and electric motor
