Stihl MS 400.1 C-M Petrol Chainsaw

The MS 400.1 C-M petrol chainsaw sets new standards in the 60cc class and is a complete re-development of the MS 400 C-M, offering the best power-to-weight ratio of any saw available in the market. It has been designed for professionals and is best suited for felling, delimbing and preparing wood. 
A larger magnesium flywheel and improved muffle helps keep the saw cool during operation.  The geometry of the rear handle has been improved for more comfortable handling, and the profile of the end has been widened to rest securely on your leg, resulting in easier plunge cutting.
The petrol tank has a 50% marker which gives you a quick indication of the fuel level, helping you keep track of consumption. Access to the oil pump control bolt has been improved too, meaning you can adjust oil flow on the job using a combi-spanner. 

Features:

Manual Decompression
The decompression valve makes it easier to start your tool. When starting, you can allow some of the compressed mixture to escape from the cylinder by opening the valve. This protects the start-up system and reduces the amount of force required on the starter cord.

Combi Lever with Stop Function
Only one start position is required on the combi lever. Thanks to the stop function, once the machine is turned off the control lever immediately moves back into the operating position. This allows a warm machine to be restarted immediately.

Compensator
The compensator is a control system in the carburettor, which uses pressure compensation to ensure that engine performance, exhaust gas quality and fuel consumption remain virtually constant over a long period of time, despite increasing contamination of the air filter. You do not need to clean the air filter until there is a noticeable drop in performance. This means that you can work for a long time without maintenance.

HD2 Filter With Radial Seal
The HD2 filter is made from polyethylene filter material with up to 70% finer pores than fleece and polyamide filters to trap even very fine dust. In addition, it is oil and water-repellent and thus very easy to clean. The PET-covered filter cartridge with quick-release lock enables the filter to be assembled and disassembled in next to no time, without using tools.

Stihl 2-MIX Engine
The two-stroke engine with Stihl 2-MIX technology saves up to 20 % of fuel and reduces emissions by up to 70 % compared to Stihl 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology.

Side-Mounted Chain Tensioning
Side-mounted chain tensioning makes it easy to tension the chain safely.

Tool Free Fuel Caps
Special caps to open and close the tank cap quickly, easily and without tools.

Carburettor Heating (V)
By changing the chain saw from summer to winter operation, the intake air is pre-heated over the engine fins. This ensures that the carburettor does not ice up and you can continue working in freezing temperatures.

Certain products such as walk behind lawnmowers & ladders are too heavy/large to dispatch with the standard courier service and will require using a freight company. BAND 3 Purchase of items between 50 – 200kg. Certain products such as ride on mowers, power washers and generators are too large/heavy to dispatch with courier service and will require using a freight company.
