Powered by a STIHL 2-MIX engine, the MS 212 has great cutting performance and low fuel consumption. It’s fitted with a 3/8" P saw chain which has high cutting performance thanks to the narrow kerf and available with either a 14” or 16” guide bar. The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces transmission of vibrations to the handle, which relieves strain on your muscles and joints. The MS 212 has single-lever operation and is effortless to restart after interruptions thanks to the combi-lever. It’s also fitted with a transparent fuel and oil tank, so you can clearly see when the chainsaw needs a fuel or oil top up.

Features:

Compensator
This controller in the carberettor prevents the fuel-air mixture getting richer as the air filter becomes clogged.  The correct quantity of fuel is delivered to the carburettor depending on the quantity of air passing through the air filter.  This keeps the fuel/air ratio in the combustion mixture constant and hence also the engine power. The filter doesn't need to be cleaned until an appropriate drop in power occurs.

STIHL 2-Mix Engine
The two-stroke engine with STIHL 2-MIX technology saves up to 20% of fuel and reduces emissions by up to 70% compared to STIHL 2-Stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology.

STIHL Anti-Vibration System
Precisely calculated buffer zones minimise the transfer of the engine and saw chain vibrations to the front and rear handles. The chainsaw therefore runs noticeably smoother. This allows the users to save their strength and work longer.

Single-Lever Master Control
All important functions such as start, choke, throttle and stop are operated via a single lever.

Side Chain Tensioner
The tensioning screw can be found on the side of the chainsaw through the sprocket cover. This removes the need for contact with a sharp chainsaw chain.

Combi Lever with Stop Function
Only one start position is required on the combi lever. Thanks to the stop function, once the machine is turned off the control lever immediately moves back into the operating position. This allows the machine to be restarted immediately.

Easy-Access Air Filter Cover
The provided easy-access makes it almost effortless to remove the cover for fast filter cleaning or replacement.

Tool Free Fuel Cap
With tool-free fuel cap you can open and close oil and fuel tanks in just a few simple clicks.

Anti Vibration System
