The KMA 200 R is the most powerful battery-powered KombiMotor from STIHL, designed for professionals and powered by a 36-volt lithium-ion battery it's quiet, efficient and powerful enough to tackle a variety of tasks. Fitted with a new style loop handle that has a quick-mounting system, meaning you can adjust the handle to your height for an ergonomic working position. This handle also makes tackling tasks on slopes, around trees or on uneven terrains even easier. It’s also fitted with an adjustable harness point for reducing fatigue and optimising balance. 

The KMA 200 R has a powerful brushless EC motor and speed adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at 3 different speed settings (6,300, 8,200, 9,500 RPM) depending on the task you’re doing. It’s also fitted with an LED display as well as infinitely variable speed control. The air filter on the housing ensures that the engine is kept cool during work, improving the service life of the brushcutter. It’s easy to remove and clean too.

You can use any of the AP batteries with the KMA 200 R, however, working times will vary depending on which attachment you use with it. The AP 500 S battery will give you the longest working times but is also the heaviest of the AP batteries, so you may decide to choose a smaller capacity battery if you are going to be using the tool for a longer period of time, such as when hedge trimming.

Constant Power
Regardless of Battery charge status. With other brands of battery tools, performance usually decreases during work as the battery discharges. This is not the case with the STIHL KMA 200 R. Thanks to intelligent electronics, the KMA 200 R works with consistently high power throughout the battery charge cycle.

Single handed multi funtion handle with speed control
Quickly and conveniently adjust the speed of the KMA 200 R to the respective work situation, with three preset speed levels (6,300 / 8,200 / 9,500 rpm). Reducing energy consumption at low speeds extends battery runtime. The practical control handle with speed control and LED display allows you to make the relevant adjustment without having to change your grip or pause work.

Loop Handle 
The loop handle ensures good manoeuvrability of the power tool, even in confined spaces, and can be adjusted without tools for comfortable use on slopes or around obstacles.

Direct Power Supply to the power tool
With the KMA 200 R, the required battery from the STIHL AP-System is inserted directly into the engine housing. This increases mobility and flexibility when working.

Optimal Engine Cooling.
The air filter with fine metal mesh cleans the air and in this way ensures optimum engine cooling. As it is itself easy to clean, it also offers a long service life.

EC Motor
Thanks to its compact design, low weight (3.9kg without battery) and high efficiency, the EC engine enables energy-efficient work with a long service life.

IPX4 Certified
Splashwater protection. The KMA 200 R is IPX4 certified, protecting against splashwater from all sides — designed for daily use, even in rainy conditions.
