Guide Bars provide precise guidance to the chainsaw with minimal friction loss.  They have to take on the toughest jobs without warping.  The two basic types - the Rollomatic and Duromatic  - have been designed to handle different requirements and areas of application.  Rollomatic bars are ideal for everyday use.

Quality Features Of STIHL Guide Bars
The guide bars role is to guide the saw chain precisely with minimal friction losses.  Together with the sproket and the chain it translates the engine power into cutting performamce with as little loss as possible.

STIHL Ematic System
The STIHL Ematic system reduces chain oil consumption by up to 50%, depending on the cutting attachment and the type of wood.  It consists of the Ematic guide bar, Oilomatic saw chain and a variable flow or reduced flow oil pump.  The chain oil is delivered in measured amounts exactly where it is needed, within minimal losses.

Rollomatic E Sproket Nose
Rollomatic E guide bars have a sproket nose with covered roller bearings.  This promotes low-wear chain running and keeps dirt out to prevent corrosion.

Hardened Bar Rails
Hardening by electromagnetic induction makes the entire bar rail assembly more resistant to all kinds of wear.  This extended the life of the guide bar.

Symmetry
STIHL guide bars have a perfectly symmetrical shape, so they are reversible.  This ensures the stresses on both long sides are equal.

Weight Reduction
The STIHL Rollomatic E is a three-part-spot-welded laminated guide bar with holes punched in the middle section.  This saves up to 15% weight compared with similar bar sizes of other makes

Certain products such as walk behind lawnmowers & ladders are too heavy/large to dispatch with the standard courier service and will require using a freight company. Due to the additional costs to us we are unable to offer free delivery on these products and will incur an additional delivery charge of €54.95. BAND 3 Purchase of items between 50 – 200kg. Certain products such as ride on mowers, power washers and generators are too large/heavy to dispatch with courier service and will require using a freight company. Due to the additional costs to us we are unable to offer free delivery on these products and will incur an additional delivery charge of €129.95
