STIHL FS 38 Brushcutter

The Stihl FS38 is the lightest model from Stihl's new brushcutter range. Weighing in at only 4.2kg, the FS 38 offers a modern appearance and convenient operation, making it very user-friendly. This petrol grass strimmer is fitted with a fully adjustable loop handle, this model is ideal for grass trimming and grass edging.  Powered by a 27.2cc 2-stroke engine, a manual fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This will minimise the amount of strokes required to start the engine after an extended break-in operation. The drive shaft of the FS38 is also fully lined to reduce the amount of vibration you feel when using it.

Multi-Function Control Handle
Easy, comfortable thumb-operated control means the operator's hand never leaves the handle.

Loop Handle
The loop handled grass trimmers and brushcutters are ideal for working in areas where space is limited, e.g. thinning between bushes and shrubs.

Manual Fuel Pump (Purger)
A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button.  This reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended breaks in operations.

STIHL ErgoStart (E)
STIHL ErgoStart cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one-third of the normal force.  A coil spring between the starter cord and the crankshaft smoothes out force peaks, making them virtually undetectable through the cord itself.

STIHL ElastoStart
STIHL ElastoStart is a special starter handle that ensures a smooth starting process without any sudden peak forces.  The integral damper smooths the power profile that is generated during starting and makes the starting process a lot easier.

BAND 1 Purchases of items between 0 – 29kg will incur a delivery charge €5.00 within Mainland Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

BAND 2 Purchases of items between 30 – 49kg will incur a delivery charge of €54.95 within Mainland Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Certain products such as walk behind lawnmowers & ladders are too heavy/large to dispatch with the standard courier service and will require using a freight company. Due to the additional costs to us we are unable to offer free delivery on these products and will incur an additional delivery charge of €54.95. You must be on site to receive and sign for these deliveries.

BAND 3 Purchase of items between 50 – 200kg. Certain products such as ride on mowers, power washers and generators are too large/heavy to dispatch with courier service and will require using a freight company. Due to the additional costs to us we are unable to offer free delivery on these products and will incur an additional delivery charge of €129.95
