Stihl FS261C-E Brushcutter

The FS 261C-E brushcutter is a rugged heavy duty brush cutter designed for all-day use by both large property owners, landscape gardeners and government departments and councils especially those with freeway maintenance where big jobs need lots of power without the vibration and high fuel consumption. Whilst large in capacity and power the FS 261 is well balanced for its size, having a solid drive shaft it can be used with all metal grass blades for slashing and clearing. The handle can be quickly adjusted without tools for operator comfort and the handle has soft rubber grips for less vibration transfer. The 2-MIX engine technology saves up to 20% less fuel and produces less emissions than an equivalent standard 2-Stroke engine. The FS 261 is a premium brush cutter and should be considered if you have a big job to complete.

Features:

STIHL 2-MIX Engine
2-Stroke engine with stratified charge.  A fuel-free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle.  This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.

ADVANCE Universal Harness
Extremely ergonomic, comfortable and light.  For strength saving, mowing and shredding.  Chest belt and toolbag are also available.

Anti-Vibration System
Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms.  STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.

Multi-Function Control Handle
Easy, comfortable thumb-operated control means the operator's hand never leaves the handle.

Bike Handle
When used in conjunction with a harness, the bike handle enables a smooth mowing action.  The bike handle allows the machine to be easily guided, making it ideal for working on large areas and thus reducing fatigue.

Simplified Starting System
Simply set the choke, pump the fuel primer, pull the starter cord and away you go!  The running machine then switches off after a brief press of the stop button.  Once the machine is at a standstill, the ignition activates again automatically.  Thus the ignition is always ready for starting.

Winter Setting Slide Control
It is quick and easy to switch the setting from winter to summer using the slide control.  Using the winter setting will prevent the air filter and carburetor from freezing.

Certain products such as walk behind lawnmowers & ladders are too heavy/large to dispatch with the standard courier service and will require using a freight company. BAND 3 Purchase of items between 50 – 200kg. Certain products such as ride on mowers, power washers and generators are too large/heavy to dispatch with courier service and will require using a freight company.
