Compatible with all KombiTools \u003cstrong\u003e(except FSB-KM curved-shaft trimmer attachment),\u003c\/strong\u003e attaching and changing tools is made simple too – all you need to do is insert your desired tool into the shaft and tighten to secure it in place.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eFitted with a new style loop handle that has a quick-mounting system, meaning you can adjust the handle to your height for an ergonomic working position. This handle also makes tackling tasks on slopes, around trees or on uneven terrains even easier. The KMA 80 R has a powerful brushless EC motor and speed-adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at 2 different speed settings. There is an ECO mode (level 1), for KombiTools suited to simple tasks such as trimming lawn edges, which results in lower energy consumption for extended battery life. And there is full speed mode (level 2), for KombiTools suited to tasks that need more power, such as clearing leaves which requires extra battery energy. However, depending on the KombiTool attached, the speed adjustment can also be infinitely variable.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eYou can use any of the AK batteries with the KMA 80, \u003cstrong\u003ehowever, working times will vary depending on which attachment you use with it.\u003c\/strong\u003e The recommended AK 30.0s battery will give you the longest working times but is also the heaviest of the AK batteries, so you may decide to choose a smaller capacity battery if you are going to be using the tool for a longer period of time, such as when hedge trimming.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe KMA 80 R is supplied with a basic harness as standard.
